It's beginning to look a lot like christmas

Actually, it isn't. With only a week to go,  still don't feel like it's the Christmas season. All of our decorations are out, our tree is up, I have presents for (almost) everyone....why do I feel like this? The answer is simple. We don't have any snow. We will have a GREEN Christmas. Considering the fact that I was born in a town where we had many snow days, this is a major disappointment. You'd think that Rochester, where I live now, would have a lot of lake effect snow. But no, we don't. Okay, we had a sprinkling a week ago, but that melted before I got home from school. Snow defines Christmas for me, and the fact we don't have any just makes me sad. I would never last in Hawai'i.
